The Friends of Tucker Library exists to help this branch provide programs and supplies for children, teens, and adults that are not provided for in the library's budget and to help assist the library in continuning to maintain its excellent service to the community.
Membership dues are low and available at many levels: individual, family, sponsor, patron and corporate.
Throughout the history of the DeKalb County Public Library, Friends have been a strong voice for the message that accessible library service is not a luxury but a necessity.
